David Tennant making a splash in NZ

NZ Herald's got the story:

His television roles have included show-stealing roles in both the BBC musical drama Blackpool and the title role of its Casanova. And he also snaffled a part as Voldemort's henchman in the latest Harry Potter film. But now has come the role that has tipped him from esteemed actor to stardom - the new Doctor Who.

Noel Clarke quits?

According to The MIrror, at least.

He said: "It's a great episode and a good end for the character. Mickey's come a long way from the guy who got stuck to the bin in episode one last year."

Followup: she too thinks it may be 'ridiculous'

Even The Independent seem to care:

"It may sound ridiculous being just 23 but I've a few good stories I'd like to share," said Piper, who promises to lift the lid on her early years, marriage to the broadcaster Chris Evans and the transformation from pop teen to award-winning actress.

Twenty-three and ready to tell her life story?

Billie Piper to write a tell-all:

Piper will reportedly divulge the details of her whirlwind marriage to TV and radio presenter Chris Evans in the new book to be published by Hodder & Stoughton this autumn.

More on that signed script...

There's a longer article over at the ekklesia site:

Signed Script Availability

If you're going to be in Edinburgh mid-May, you could pick up script signed by Tennant and Piper:

The script, which has also been signed by co-star Billie Piper, is to be given to the Christian Aid book sale at St Andrew’s and St George’s Church in Edinburgh’s George Street, opening May 13 and running from May 15-19.

BBC, ITV battle it out for Billie

Can't we all just get along?

The ‘Doctor Who’ star has agreed to star in a new ITV costume drama; she will be playing Fanny Price in a new big budget version of ‘Mansfield Park’ making her the highest paid actress on UK TV.

Billie returning to school?

The site may be in Chinese, but the article is in English:

The ‘Doctor Who’ beauty - who dropped out of school aged just 14 to pursue a pop career - claims her law student boyfriend, Amadu Sowe, has inspired her to read again and rediscover the joys of learning.

Billie Piper at the Mirror

Given up on a husband, and now whinging about lack of a lovelife:

Poor old Amadu Sowe. His gorgeous girlfriend spends nine months of the year in Cardiff filming one of Britain's most popular TV shows with a desirable young actor, and he sees her about as often as the viewing public will do - once a week.

Quoth the Mirror, "Frilly Billie"

Billie Piper is showing up In Style

Billie, 23, lounged in her lingerie for a photo shoot inspired by the circus. The Doctor Who beauty even shared centre stage with a horse. Although she was clearly the mane attraction.
