Ratings boost for the SCI-FI channel

Great news for Doctor Who fans in the States, at least. Even though ratings aren't that hot in the UK for series 2, there are two reports, one at iFMagazine, and the other at the futon critic both thrilled with the incredible gains that the SCI-FI channel has been seeing.

Then and Now

Pippa Sheppard looks forward to Series 2:

Scotsman less than thrilled with new Who

Science and the Doctor

Today in the Telegraph is an article examining the science in Doctor Who:

A close parallel between real science and fiction has remained with the programme for more than 40 years - ever since the first episode went out on November 23, 1963, the day after President John F Kennedy was shot.
