This was the first Hawaii Five-0 episode I ever saw. And now I'm a Five-0 Fan.

Politics are dirty allright! This scenario happened in real life in my town in 1991. Although a politician's son was not involved, the coaches were running scared, worried about their prestige & tried to get the D.A. to more or less sweep it under the rug or plea bargain with the drunken rapist players. Fortunatly that did not happen & justice prevailed.

Geez, I don't know why others do not like this episode. I liked it alot. Watching Steve and Dan putting the pieces together to figure out who really was the rapist was very interesting. And watching McGarrett get madder and madder that the real rapists might get away with their crime was great to watch. Also, the part where McGarrett has a talk with Lani in his office and she tells him that she stabbed the college guy because he raped her, was excellent. One of the best McGarrett scenes of the whole series !

This is about when the character named Lani gets raped by the three football players. One of them was named Link Davidson, who was played by Richard Masur. I remember when Lani was demanding the football players who raped her to tell her the truth, but when she was forcing them to do it, she had a pistol with her. She said to them that if they don't tell her the truth she would pull the trigger of the gun. She was so angry and upset. Link (played by Masur) and his men were arrested, and McGarrett was making sure that Lani was okay. Richard Masur sure was a villain in that episode. He has also been a villain on the 1990 television movie called "Settle The Score" with Jaclyn Smith and Jeffrey DeMunn, and played the character as Lincoln. That was about the unsolved mysteries made by the man who raped the policewoman (Jaclyn Smith) and murdered other girls. The woman was visting while she was solving the case, but the man turned out to be Lincoln played by Richard Masur who was the one the whole time. That episode of Hawaii I'm talking about sure was okay, but watchable or bad, but watchable.

I remember the character's name who was played by Richard Masur whose name was Bink Avery, the character played by Adam Arkin named Alex Scofield and the character named Kim Hughes who were the three college football players who raped Lani Okano, who was played by Beverly Rushida. Richard Masur sure was one of the villains in that episode of Hawaii Five-O called, "A Touch Of Guilt" as Bink Avery. Bink and Alex (played by Masur and Arkin) were lying the whole time when they said that a man whom I forgot who the name was in that episode was the one who stabbed Kim Hughes. One out of the three college football players in that episode died while he raped Lani, and then Lani probably had to stab him in defense whatever. But at the end, Lani went to the place where Bink and Alex were, and forced them to call the police and tell them of what they did to her, and that if they didn't, Lani would have to pull the trigger of the gun. The Five-O police arrived at the door, and they arrested Bink Avery (Richard Masur) and Alex Scofield (Adam Arkin) for the rape of Lani Okano. And everything was all right for Lani Okano.

My God , this episode sucks , I saw this episode on Family Channel , now I wasn't crazy about the 3 Football players , the Amateur actors portraying them ruined this good story , and rape , what rape , I heard a girl scream , a bunch of guys molesting the girl , that escapes . Maybe the family channel cut this one badly too huh! , whatever the case , even in it's uncut original version , I can't imagine this episode earning more than one star . And that's only if they can show us guys some legs and a bit of ass of course if not then , pass this one .

I agree with Melissa on this--the storyline should have been different. But the part of politics being dirty--need one say anything else?
